Just wanted to let u know that when I called NSC IO today, she was kind enough to give my 485 Recpt # and asked me to wait a couple of weeks to get them in mail. She told me they(both my wife and mine) were just entered into the system.
Also I asked her abt my wife's pkg, she said it also got cashed, but my wife has to call to get her Recpt#.
frontlog refers to the folks who have filed between July2nd -July 16th.

Hey, Anyone whose checks cashed but still didnt get their receipts? My checks were cashed 5 days ago. So far no receipt notices.. I got the receipt no's from back of the checks and the lud on 765 is 9/7 but it still says we mailed out a notice on how we process this case.....

I don't think its much different from what is posted. Only one time contributions are being considered for this event.
I have a shared doc with StarSun and all known ones have been accounted for the above total.
Only one month left to achieve our funding goals.
It does look like there are only a few hundred (~200) willing to actively participate for the good of others. About 0.04 % of all EB2, EB3 filers.
One possible strategy.......
Dividing 50,000 into that, it will be great if you hardworking people, fighting for legal immigrants, can touch about $200-400 each,
while the rest watch from the sidelines and cheer for us :), and also debate & analyze spiritedly.....
I'm at $300 now for this event

Would also like to thank Gopal (gsc999) for getting all the banners done and helping a lot in organizing the SJ rally.Kudos to all Noble souls in the IV Core. I think what IV has acheived is amazing and unprecedented. Also money is too small to repay all the hours and work you guys have put in.

i do not understand the fuss about it. why do we over react to it. Big law firms like FDBL ( fragmon) all said the lawsuit is not winnable no chance , DOS can change VB any time as per federal law. whats the use of all this??
we should find some way through congress, not just fighting USCIS for short term beneifts for EAD/AP's etc.
There might not be any use, and it might not work, but we have tried to get attention thru media, lobby congress and fight our way through. Law-suit is something that will bring a lot of media attention, and also AILF feels there are strong grounds, so why not?.

"If oldest priority date should be considered then what is the use of categories like EB1, EB2, EB3 etc." ? It is a weak argument to say that we are talking only about spillover visas here.
Why, indeed, should USCIS give spillover away to anyone? They could as well sell off the excess visas at a premium, can't they?

I-485 filing package should include a Letter of Reconfirmation of job-offer from your sponsor. This letter should describe what was in the LC. If you get a copy of this letter, you know what you need from your new employer. I-485 is your filing, therefore, you should not have difficulty in getting a copy of full set of what was filed.

I'm no senior member, but I would guess your red dot to be a feature of the software running this forum. Depending on the number of posts (50,100 etc), it changes.
The red/green dot is based on the response from other members to a members post. (see the balance icon on the header?) If a member's post is continously rated as I disapprove, the green dot changes to a red one.
This thread has lost direction and purpose. From a question of what will happen once lame duck session starts, it has degenerated into an "us vs them" argument which has no end. Ultimately, this thread is being closed.
